First things first, avoid unhealthy food!
I know we, black women, are food lovers. Well, who can say no to crispy and juicy fried chicken, tasty barbeque, cheesy pizza, and decadent desserts? But girl, these delicious munchies can be a hindrance in achieving the body of your dream. To get a body like our Queen Bey, you have to cut down on the junk. Yes, sis, I know how sad that can be, but you really have to cut down on foods with lots of salt and sugar and grease. But cheer up! There are many nutritious yet super delicious meals out there. You can watch cooking tutorials on YouTube or search for healthy recipes online. If you think skipping meals will help you get a sexy bod, you are wrong. It will only make you feel hungrier and eat much food later on. So eat three meals a day with small snacks in between. Just make sure you are eating a balanced and healthy diet. Our soul diva loves to munch on fruits, oatcakes, and almonds.
Keep your body hydrated.
Whether you are a fitness enthusiast or not, you surely know how important water is for your overall health. Drinking plenty of water can keep your body hydrated, make your skin glow, and cleanse your body to get rid of unwanted substances. Eating fruits that contain water such as oranges, apples, watermelons, apricots, peaches, pineapples, pears, and raspberries can also help keep you hydrated.
Move that body at least five days a week.
Our queen works out at least five times a week. I know you can do that too. You can do lunges, squats, step-ups, and cardio exercises. Strength training is important too to tone up your muscles. You can follow some fitness enthusiasts on YouTube that share their home workouts, beginner-friendly exercises, and intense workouts with or without equipment.
Not good at dancing? It's okay, as long as you enjoy it!
We all know how amazing Beyonce is when it comes to the dance floor. And that is one of the main factors why she has a bootylicious body. Dancing is Queen Bey's favorite form of workout. We can't blame her, dancing is really fun! Don't worry if you are not blessed with dancing skills. You don't have to be a pro to enjoy dancing. You can do it daily and it is best for those who easily get bored with working out. You just have to select upbeat songs (like Beyonce's!) and dance your heart out.
Planking can help you achieve killer abs.
I know doing a plank is not an easy task, but when you do it regularly, you will get used to it. Start by doing a one-minute plank until you can do longer. Challenge yourself and get rid of that belly fat. Did you know that B Knowles typically does a hundred repetitions of 10-second planks during every workout sesh? You can do that too, girl!
Consistency is always the key.
Girl, doing all the tips we shared for only a week or a month will not help you achieve the body that you want. You have to be consistent to achieve your goals. It is best to make a schedule weekly so you already know what will you be doing for the day. There are a lot of reasons to quit, but those shouldn’t stop you from reaching your goals!
Just like us, Beyonce is only a human too. Yes, some people are born with a good body, but most celebrities worked hard to achieve their current figure. It is important to accept and love your curves and your body, but if you want to improve it, you have to work hard for it. Lying down all day eating junk food won't help you get the figure that you've been dreaming of.
