Have you ever felt like your hair is gonna break off and your brain is gonna explode any moment? I feel you, sis. That happens when you are making yourself a low priority. I know and I totally understand that life can be so hard sometimes. But neglecting our bodies due to the stress-inducing demands of our daily lives should be over. It is time to treat ourselves to some much-deserved care and nourishment. If you are worried about spending a lot of money for a luxurious self-care, the tips that we are about to share with you won't hurt your budget. Actually, you can achieve a self-glow even at the comfort of your home.

First, you have to cleanse, tone, and moisturize. Yes, these are a must!

Cleansing, toning, and moisturizing your skin in the morning is vital to soothe and treat your dry, flakey skin. These steps also help you in getting clear complexion and acne-free skin by getting rid of all the dirt left on your skin that can clog your pores and make your skin dry and dirty.

We all know that teas offer us so many health benefits.

Some teas can help in reducing bad cholesterol and lowering the risk of heart disease. But did you know that teas can also do wonders for our skin? If you are a tea lover, good for you. If not, you might want to consider trying teas now. When you are healthy inside, it shows on the outside too. Teas can help our skin glow.

  • Chamomile tea is one of the most popular teas because it can help with sleeping problems. And sleep is important for maintaining a glowing complexion.
  • Jasmine tea is another tea variant that you should be drinking. Aside from its pleasant smell, this tea actually has antioxidant and antibacterial properties that keep your immune system healthy.
  • Green tea has catechins that can fight free radicals and reduce skin damage. The catechins can also revive dying skin cells and promote healthy new ones.
  • Black tea is packed with antioxidants that can fight free radicals in the body and slow the signs of aging.

Start upping your fluid intake.

Drinking plenty of water does not only keep you healthy and energetic, it also helps your skin become clearer and prettier. Water can also help you get rid of bloatedness due to eating too much salt. Keeping yourself hydrated will also make it easier for you to shed a few pounds. If you do not like the taste of plain water, you can add some fruits, cucumber, or mint.

Eat your fruits and veggies.

Adding fruits and veggies to your meal can help you shed a few pounds without feeling like you are dieting. You can have grilled vegetables, veggie soups, or fruit smoothies every day. Eating fruits and vegetables every day can boost your metabolism and improve your circulation. If it is a bit hard for you to do this, just keep in mind that every fruit or vegetable you take can make you prettier and happier.

Keep movin'!

I know you are busy and got no energy to workout every day. But lemme tell you this: working out is a very important part of glowing up. You don't have to a hardcore workout each day. Simple cardio exercises and strength training for about 20 to 30 minutes every day or at least three to four times a week is okay. You can watch home workouts on YouTube with or without equipment. But try to use some weights too, cause the faster you make your muscles stronger, the sooner you will burn more calories.

This is just the first part of our guide, ladies. We have a lot more to share with you. So stay tuned for the next set of tips on how to properly take care of your self and keep glowing! Challenge yourself now and do the things we shared above.
